In situ surface modification by oleic acid of magnetite nanoparticles: surface interaction, structure, and its magnetic properties

This study successfully synthesized oleic acid-coated Fe₃O₄ nanoparticles (11–37 nm) with stable dispersibility and superparamagnetic properties. The coating improved surface interactions without altering crystal structure, making them promising for biomedical uses such as targeted drug delivery.
