This scoping review analyzed 11 studies on immersive reality (IR) technologies—VR, AR, and MR—in dental education, especially tooth extraction training. IR was found to enhance students’ motor skills, anatomy knowledge, confidence, and clinical preparedness through realistic simulations and feedback. Despite challenges like high cost and limited tactile realism, IR shows strong potential to improve dental education when integrated into the curriculum.
