Oral Opportunistic Infection Induced by Stress and Silent Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus in Young Adult Patient A Case Report

This case report describes a 34-year-old man with silent type 2 diabetes and stress, who developed oral opportunistic infections including candidiasis, recurrent intraoral herpes, and cheilitis. Combined antifungal, antiviral, and supportive therapy with diabetes management led to significant improvement. The case highlights how undiagnosed diabetes and stress can weaken immunity and trigger oral opportunistic infections.
