This study compared IL-10 serum levels in non-diabetic patients and diabetic patients with and without oral manifestations. Results showed that diabetic patients with oral manifestations had the lowest IL-10 levels, suggesting reduced anti-inflammatory response and higher risk of oral complications. Monitoring IL-10 may help identify at-risk diabetic patients.
