This study synthesized calcium carbonate (CaCO₃) from natural limestone in Padalarang, Indonesia, focusing on producing the vaterite form for biomedical applications. Using a fine-bubble carbonation method with varying HCl concentrations, the highest vaterite content (93%) was achieved at 0.04 M HCl. Characterization showed spherical vaterite particles, confirmed by XRD, SEM, FTIR, and particle size analysis, with HCl concentration affecting particle size and the calcite–vaterite ratio.
