This study compared YOLOv11-based deep learning models developed on the Roboflow and Ultralytics platforms for automated mesiodens detection in pediatric panoramic radiographs. While the Roboflow model achieved the highest validation accuracy, the Ultralytics YOLOv11l model demonstrated superior generalization and the best overall clinical performance, highlighting its potential as a reliable AI-assisted tool for mesiodens screening in pediatric dentistry.
