This study evaluated the effectiveness of combining dental hypnosis with the tell–show–do (TSD) technique for managing fear and pain during local anesthesia in children. The results showed that the combined approach significantly reduced dental fear compared with TSD alone, although its effect on pain reduction was not statistically significant. The findings suggest that dental hypnosis may be a useful behavioral management strategy in pediatric dentistry.
