This systematic review examined the anticancer effects of eugenol on oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) using in vitro studies. Thirteen high-quality articles showed that eugenol can induce cell death, inhibit cell proliferation, and affect oxidative stress in oral cancer cell lines.
