Oral Health Education Program for Community Health Cadres and Pregnant Women

Lecturers and dental profession students of the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Padjadjaran implemented an oral health education program for community health cadres and pregnant women.
This program supports SDG 5 (Gender Equality) by empowering women—especially pregnant mothers and health cadres, who are predominantly female—through improved oral health knowledge. By equipping them with essential skills to maintain personal and family health, women are empowered to act as agents of change in their communities.
The program strengthens women’s capacity to make informed health decisions, increases their participation in village development, and promotes gender equality through inclusive and equitable access to health information. 💪💚
