Evaluation of Mandibular Osteogenesis Under Hypobaric Hipoxia Exposure: Immunoexpression of HIF-1α, VEGF, and Micro-CT Analysis

This study shows that intermittent hypobaric hypoxia (IHH) boosts mandibular bone regeneration in rats by increasing HIF-1α and VEGF expression, enhancing osteogenesis, angiogenesis, and bone microarchitecture. IHH may be a promising non-invasive strategy for repairing mandibular bone defects.
