Granola potato peel ethanol extract (GPPEE) showed promising wound healing and anti-inflammatory effects on oral mucosal wounds in rats. Both 4% and 6% GPPEE gels reduced inflammation, increased fibroblast activity, and improved collagen deposition, with 6% showing the best results. GPPEE performed better than placebo and was comparable to standard triamcinolone treatment, suggesting its potential as a natural alternative therapy.
