Radiotherapy-Associated Oral Lesions in a Geriatric Patient with Nasal Squamous Cell Carcinoma: A Case Report

This case report describes a 76-year-old cancer patient who developed severe oral mucositis after radiotherapy. Topical therapy with saline compresses, hyaluronic acid mouthwash, and petroleum jelly led to significant improvement within five days and complete healing by the third visit. The case highlights the value of topical management in reducing treatment disruption and oral frailty in geriatric radiotherapy patients.
