This study investigated the effects of α-mangostin and hyperbaric oxygen therapy on bone remodeling after orthodontic tooth retraction. In animal models, these treatments increased osteoblasts, reduced osteoclast activity, and elevated MMP-8 expression, showing a strong positive correlation among these indicators. The results suggest that both therapies, especially in combination, can enhance alveolar bone repair during orthodontic treatment.
