This cross-sectional study analyzed 48 patients (18–45 years old) who underwent impacted third molar surgery to explore how tooth position and patient factors affect surgical difficulty. Using panoramic radiographs, researchers measured occlusal plane distance, angulation, eruption space, and proximity to the inferior alveolar canal. Surgical difficulty was assessed through surgical time and technique.
