This retrospective study investigated the association between dental caries and relapse in children with nephrotic syndrome (NS). Among 2,322 recurrent NS cases, 96.4% were linked to dental caries. Children with caries had a significantly higher risk of frequent NS relapse (RR = 42.014, p < 0.001). The findings highlight the need for close collaboration between physicians and dentists to manage dental caries and help prevent NS relapses.
