This systematic review evaluated Digital Smile Design (DSD) in dentistry, focusing on aesthetics, patient satisfaction, and sustainability. Across 12 studies, DSD improved smile aesthetics, including alignment, tooth shape, and lip symmetry, while increasing patient satisfaction due to precision, reduced chair time, and minimally invasive procedures. Additionally, DSD offers eco-friendly benefits by minimizing material waste and appointments. Overall, DSD is effective and sustainable, but further standardized research is needed to strengthen evidence.
