This case report of four patients with tongue squamous cell carcinoma (TSCC) shows that radiotherapy often causes painful oral side effects like candidiasis, mucositis, and xerostomia, which can hinder treatment adherence. Supportive care using antifungals, hyaluronic acid mouthwash, diphenhydramine, and artificial saliva improved oral health-related quality of life (OHRQoL) and reduced pain levels, highlighting the importance of personalized oral care during radiotherapy.
