Impact of Various Sleeve Materials on Temperature Variations During Guided Endodontic Access Cavity Preparation Utilizing Finite-Element Analysis

This study used finite element analysis and experimental validation to investigate the effect of zirconia, cobalt-chromium (CoCr), and titanium guide sleeves on temperature changes during guided endodontic access. Zirconia generated the lowest temperature increase due to its insulating properties, while CoCr demonstrated favorable heat dissipation and mechanical performance, suggesting it as a promising alternative to titanium for guided endodontic applications.
