This study tested alginate mixed with PMMA fillers to improve tear strength. Results showed that adding 3–7% PMMA significantly increased tear strength compared to control, with the best result at 5%. PMMA enhances alginate’s durability and impression accuracy, though further studies on biocompatibility are needed.
