This animal study evaluated α-mangostin and hyperbaric oxygen therapy after orthodontic retraction. The combination enhanced bone regeneration by increasing VEGF, FGF-2, ALP, and balancing MMP-8, osteoblasts, and osteoclasts. Findings suggest both therapies, especially combined, positively support alveolar bone remodeling.
