This animal study examined hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) and Myrmecodia pendans extract in orthodontic tooth movement. The combination enhanced tooth movement, increased osteoclast activity, regulated osteoblasts, and optimized TNF-α and TGF-β gene expression. Findings suggest both therapies, especially together, effectively accelerate orthodontic tooth movement.
