A Meta-Analysis of the Diagnosis of Condylar and Mandibular Fractures Based on 3-dimensional Imaging and Artificial Intelligence

This review and meta-analysis examined 3D imaging and AI-assisted methods for diagnosing mandibular condyle fractures. Findings show AI and 3D CT improve accuracy and efficiency over traditional X-rays, especially for complex cases. While AI shows high prediction accuracy, further multicenter studies are needed for broader clinical validation and application. Evaluation of Mandibular Osteogenesis Under Hypobaric Hipoxia Exposure: Immunoexpression of HIF-1α, VEGF, and Micro-CT Analysis

This study shows that intermittent hypobaric hypoxia (IHH) boosts mandibular bone regeneration in rats by increasing HIF-1α and VEGF expression, enhancing osteogenesis, angiogenesis, and bone microarchitecture. IHH may be a promising non-invasive strategy for repairing mandibular bone defects. Indonesian Tooth Loss Predictor in Middle-aged and Elderly Populations based on Sociodemographic Factors and Systemic Disease A Cross-sectional Study

This study analyzed national health data from 16,973 Indonesians to identify predictors of tooth loss in middle-aged and elderly populations. Tooth loss was strongly associated with age, occupation, diabetes, and heart disease. The model showed high predictive accuracy, indicating these factors can effectively predict tooth loss risk for prevention efforts. The Relationship Between Parenting Stress and Parents’ Level of Education, Knowledge, and Attitude Regarding Dental and Oral Health Maintenance in Children with Intellectual Disabilities

This study examined 104 parents of children with intellectual disabilities in Bandung to explore the link between parenting stress and oral health care. Most parents reported moderate stress, average education, and sufficient knowledge and attitudes. Results showed that higher parenting stress was significantly related to parents’ education, knowledge, and attitudes about maintaining their children’s oral

Biodegradation, Angiogenesis, and Inflammatory Response of a Collagen-Chitosan-Polyvinyl Alcohol (PVA) Membrane: In Vivo Model of Guided Tissue Regeneration

This study compared collagen-chitosan-PVA membranes with pericardial membranes in rats. The collagen-chitosan-PVA membrane degraded more slowly, promoted more blood vessel formation, and caused less inflammation by day 30. These results suggest it is a promising material for guided tissue regeneration in periodontal therapy.
